From opening the pineapple tin to your mouth in 20 minutes. These pineapple pastries are perfect for a lazy Sunday breakfast. Delicious with added sugar or try them as a savoury snack with ham on top.

Ingredients
- Tin of pineapples
- 320gr of puff pastry
- 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- Granulated sugar to taste
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 200°C (fan)
- Roll out your puff pastry and cut into 12 squares of even size
- Spread a thin layer of room temperature butter on all the squares, just enough to coat them
- Put 6 of the squares on top of the other 6 squares, leaving you with 6 pastries
- put your squares on a baking tray that is lined with baking paper
- Add a pineapple ring in the middle of each square
- Sprinkle with sugar to taste. For a savoury snack, add ham
- Bake for 13-15 min until the pastry has puffed up and is golden brown
Extra
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top before baking for extra flavour
