These crispy paneer chunks will make you crave for more. Perfect as a protein in a salad or as a side to a curry. With a dipping sauce you can even serve this as a light appetizer.

Instructions

- Roll the paneer pieces into the egg white, go for a thin, even layer
- Roll the paneer strips into the panko bread crumbs, coat the entire surface
- Repeat step 2-4 with each cube
- Heat 1 cm of oil in a pan on medium heat
- Fry the paneer pieces until golden brown
Learn from my mistakes
- Keep it thin! A thin layer of flour, egg and panko crumbs gives the best crunch
- Paneer pieces should be moist enough for the flour to stick to them but not too wet to make the flour wet.
- Keep an eye on your pan/fryer! Panko bread crumbs fry faster than you think. Lowering the oil temperature makes it easier to control brownness
